Oh HELL YES!
Very much looking forward to this. They knocked it out of the park with their last book, Kampfgruppe Muhlenkamp, so expect more of the same with this title! September 15, 1940 - The Battle of Britain reaches its climax when the Royal Air Force (RAF) downs 56 invading German aircraft in two dogfights lasting less than an hour. The costly raid convinced the German high command that the Luftwaffe could not achieve air supremacy over Britain, and the next day daylight attacks were replaced with nighttime sorties as a concession of defeat. On September 19, Hitler postponed indefinitely “Operation Sea Lion”–the amphibious invasion of Britain. Although heavy German aid raids on London and other British cities would continue through spring 1941, the Battle of Britain was effectively won. Added photos and AAR from our latest immersion event with Southern Front Events - Battle of Narwa 1944.
Some great late war footage from Dneiper, 1944. Really great examples of winter uniforms. Check out those lambchops on the machinegunner! Some amazing footage of freshly supplied soldaten on the Ost Front, 1944. KG Franzky will be attending the annual Gap II tactical this weekend in PA. The event has been a staple in WWII reenacting for many years and is always fun. Pics soon!
