Pics from this past weekend's Poland 1944 event are up, enjoy!  It feels like it's been forever, but we are finally able to get back to reenacting with our upcoming Poland 1944 event in August! We will be portraying soldaten of the 5. SS Panzer Division "Wiking". Luckily, we have a great reference for the impression, the excellent Kampfgruppe Mühlenkamp: 5. Members of KG Franzky assisted the Ontario Regiment Museum in Oshawa Canada with the unveiling of their latest, operational vehicle; a Jagdpanzer 38t “Hetzer”. Purchased from Poland by Museum President Al Duffy and donated to the Oshawa museum, this restored Hetzer was one of 150 built immediately post war from war time parts and sold to Switzerland as G13’s. It has several original parts, including it’s 6-cylinder gasoline engine coupled to a Praga-Wilson gearbox, which still retain their wartime Waffenamt acceptance markings. A great, operational addition to the museums growing stock of German vehicles. The battles there continue to be some of the most immersive in the country. KG members portrayed members of 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division Götz von Berlichingen in the last days of the war.
