Shots from the Youngstown, Ohio Battle for Nürnberg are up. The battles there continue to be some of the most immersive in the country. KG members portrayed members of 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division Götz von Berlichingen in the last days of the war. Much thanks to Dietrich Ziegler for the pics!

Members of Kampfgruppe Franzky attended the Ontario Regiment Museum’s “Aquino Tank Weekend” where they portrayed Panzerjagers and Panzergrenadiers from the Italian campaign. There were two public battles and an extensive display of Axis anti-armor weapons, and the event was visited by a crowd of over 6,000 people. Nice job, fellas!
Our Canadian brothers got to portray a Pz III crew recently at the Ontario Regiment Museum in Oshawa, ON. Well done, fellas!
Site has been updated with pics from this past weekend's Italian Front event in Newville, PA. Great event with some great people!
Members of KG Franzky will be portraying Mountain Division Nord this coming weekend at the Murmansk Ost Front tactical in NC. Pics soon!
The KG stayed busy during the summer months this year by attending the annual public battles at both Tidioute PA and Conneaut OH. Both events brought out large amounts of attendees and it was great to answer their questions and show them a little of what we do as reenactors.
Next up for us is Operation Lüttich in Hazelton PA. This event will see the debut of the newest edition to the KG, a Panzer III. Looking forward to seeing her in action and getting back into the field! On June 23, members of KG Franzky ran the German forces display and two battle reenactments, along with members of 9th SS and GD, against Soviet and Partisan forces at the Georgina Military Museum’s annual Military Day. They displayed elements of a German camp and occupied the trench system with an MG42 position. Well done, guys!
